I haven't checked into buying the remote, that would be really handy I think. I looked into the paid version and quite frankly I'm not sure what benefits you get but that's just my opinion. you have to email the document to yourself and then save it to your Apple device and then this app can retrieve it.

Going from windows PC, especially note book or notepad or whatever. it would be nice if it had access to Dropbox but oh well. if those sentences ties your tongue which is quite often with me. and leave editing within the app to just small errors or separating sentences. I strongly suggest you do your dictation and major editing somewhere else and then import. It has problems dictating, it will go for five or 10 seconds and then quit. It's got some clunkiness to it but it's free, easy to use and for the most part works extremely well.
